كشفت صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الكتالونية موقف المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، رونالد كومان، تجاه بعض الصفقات الهجومية المرشحة للعملاق الكتالوني.

وارتبطت عدة أسماء مميزة بإمكانية الانتقال إلى برشلونة خلال الميركاتو الصيفي المقبل وعلى رأسها إيرلينج هالاند (بوروسيا دورتموند)، ممفيس ديباي (ليون)، روميلو لوكاكو (إنتر ميلان) وسيرجيو أجويرو (مانشستر سيتي).

ولكن بحسب الصحيفة الشهيرة، أبلغ كومان إدارة برشلونة خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية رفضه التام الدخول في مفاوضات مع أجويرو للمجيء إلى قلعة “كامب نو” لأنه يبحث عن خيار أصغر في السن مع اقتراب الأرجنتيني لإتمام عامه الثالث والثلاثين في يونيو المقبل.

وأكدت الصحيفة أن كومان يحب المهاجمين الأقوياء، ويرى المدرب الهولندي كل المواصفات في لاعب بوروسيا دورتموند، إيرلينج هالاند، ولكن التعاقد معه ليس سهلًا لوجود أكثر من نادٍ كبير في أوروبا يسعى وراء ضمه بعد نهاية الموسم الحالي وذلك لأن هناك تقارير تشير إلى وجود شرط جزائي في عقده يسمح برحيله مقابل 75 مليون يورو فقط.

أيضًا أفادت “موندو ديبورتيفو” أن كومان يحب مهاجم إنتر ميلان المتألق، روميلو لوكاكو، والذي يعلم جيدًا إمكانياته عندما دربه خلال فترته في إيفرتون في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز ومع أرقامه الحالية في إيطاليا أصبح تحت أنظار مدرب برشلونة مرة أخرى.

الخيار الأخير أمام كومان هو ديباي الذي ينتهي عقده مع ليون في نهاية الموسم الحالي، ولكن التحفظ الوحيد أنه لا يلعب في الأساس في مركز المهاجم الصريح لكنه يستطيع اللعب بجانب مركز الجناح.

According to Italian publication Calcio Mercato, Liverpool are interested in making a move for Ajax forward David Neres.

What’s the word?

The Brazilian has been a key performer for the Dutch side since joining the club from Sao Paulo in January 2017. Last season, the 22-year-old scored twelve goals and provided a further 15 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions, with two of those strikes coming against Real Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League.

The forward was reported to have had an offer to leave the Eredivisie giants during the summer, but a deal failed to materialise. It was then confirmed he had penned a new deal with the club. However, Calcio Mercato now claim Liverpool are eyeing up a swoop for Neres as they look to strengthen their attack.

At just 22, the Brazil international has a lot of room for growth in the future. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to contribute significantly for Liverpool were he to join anytime soon. Ajax’s fairy-tale run to the last four of the Champions League last season gave him incredible exposure to football at the highest level, and that should stand him in good stead at Anfield.

As someone who can operate both on the left and right flanks, Neres would give Klopp real strength in depth in the wide areas. Both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have shared a lot of the goal-scoring burden – they were joint-winners of the Premier League’s Golden Boot last season – and so signing the Ajax starlet would ease the pressure on them considerably.

Whilst his start to the current campaign hasn’t really taken off yet with just two goals in total, his under-lying numbers still shows he is continuing to be an influential player for Ajax. In the league, Neres has averaged 1.3 shots, 1 key pass and 1.6 dribbles per game.

If the Reds make a swoop for the 22-year-old, they would be getting a player in the mould of some of their key attackers – direct, pacy and with an eye for goal – and thus someone who could quite comfortably ease the work-load on Salah and Mane.

وتابع: “على النجوم الكبار أن يدعموا اللاعبين ويتواجدون يوم الإثنين في تدريبات الزمالك لتدعيم الفريق، وأعتقد أن اللاعبين عندما يرون النجوم الكبار في التدريبات سيكون هذا عاملًا إيجابيًا”.

وأكمل: “أتمنى الهدوء بين الثنائي جنش وأبو جبل، مثلما كان الحال معي ومع عبد المنصف”.

وأوضح: “تحدثت معهما وكل حارس يريد أن يلعب، وأكدا أنهما يجتهدان وأن المشاكل تثار في الإعلام أكبر من حجمها الحقيقي”.

وأضاف: “تحدثت بصورة مباشرة مع الحارسين ىوالأزمة بينهما انتهت.. أبو جبل وجنش حارسان كبار ولو استمرت المشاكل سيخلق هذا التوتر”.

واستطرد: “أنا وعبد المنصف كنا في ظهر بعضنا، ومعدل اللعب رزق من عند الله، ومن الممكن الحارس أن يحارب من أجل اللعب ويكون في حالة سيئة”.

واختتم: “أتمنى من الثنائي أن يبتعدا عن السوشيال ميديا، وتكون العلاقة بينهما منافسة في الملعب فقط، لأن جمهور الزمالك لن يتحمل أي صراعات داخلية”.

وارتبط فقير مرارًا وتكرارًا بخطوة الرحيل إلى الدوري الإنجليزي، منذ أن كان لاعبًا في صفوف ليون، حيث كان على رادار ليفربول.

وذكرت تقارير صحفية مؤخرًا أن ليفربول جدد اهتمامه بضم نبيل فقير نهاية الموسم الحالي.

وأشارت إلى أن آرسنال يركز أكثر على حسم صفقة مارتين أوديجارد من ريال مدريد، وليس نبيل فقير.

After two fixtures played, Real Madrid have a 3-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain and a 2-2 draw against Club Brugge at the Santiago Bernabeu under their belts.

By all means, not really a dreamy start.

For that reason, and especially with the recent injury to one of their talismans, Toni Kroos, Zinedine Zidane will need a new leader to give the Galacticos a little push.

The German midfielder has been doing exactly that with his recent performances, dropping masterclasses left, right and centre, but now, in his absence, Luka Modric might have to step up.

His recent display for his national team, however, might prove he is definitely up for the task.

The 34-year-old veteran scored one of the goals for Croatia against Hungary but did a lot more than just that. He also tallied two key passes, 93 touches on the night and five accurate long balls while maintaining 91% passing accuracy as a whole.

This should prove to Zidane that Modric has still got it and should not be discarded just yet.

Of course, with recent whispers of Real Madrid potentially going for Christian Eriksen in the near future, the Croat’s position and role in the team might come under threat.

But if performances like the one against Hungary are any indication, then Modric should still surely have a part to play in the upcoming campaign.

He is, however, already 34 and the question of his longevity on the pitch should be brought up sooner rather than later.

Let’s see how long Real Madrid feel their midfield talisman can keep going.

Leeds United fans will have loved watching Eddie Nketiah bag a hat-trick for England U21s on Tuesday evening, but they may not have liked what he said after the match.

Indeed, the 20-year-old publicly aired his complaints about a lack of playing time at Elland Road this season, and you can certainly understand why he is unhappy.

The striker’s grievances are entirely understandable, as he has played just 162 minutes of league football for the Whites this term – scoring twice in that time.

With the xG table showing that Leeds have some issues with their finishing, you’d think a player who has scored at such a rate would be given a chance, but he’s still yet to start a league match for the Yorkshire outfit.

Of course, having a player air his complaints in public isn’t a great look for any football club, so Andrea Radrizzani attempted to calm the situation by taking a page out of Donald Trump’s book and simply labelling it as fake news.

However, the Italian’s comments didn’t fly with a number of supporters, as one fan called him out by telling him (in some not so appropriate language) that Nketiah’s comments hadn’t been misinterpreted, but were printed exactly as he said them.

This led to the owner quickly backtracking with a rather bizarre reply, changing the subject completely.

This whole situation is rather strange.

Radrizzani was seemingly unwilling to admit that Nketiah had complained about the way he was being used by the Yorkshire club, but when he was called out by a fan it was like he’d suddenly suffered from amnesia and forgotten the original conversation.
